Manhattan Transfer "Boy from New York City"

There are some songs and artists that I have loved all my life and carry with me, but there are others that transport me back to my youth. Manhattan Transfer and "Boy from New York City" fall into that category. I saw a segment profiling the group on CBS Sunday Morning and realized that it had been years since I'd heard this song. I was absolutely crazy about this song back in the early 1980s when I was going through my 1950s-early 1960s stage. Sadly, I don't think this is a group that my kids will add to their playlist.
