Add "novelist" to my list of titles

As if I don't have enough to do, I'm flirting with the idea of trying NaNoWriMo. Yes, I am a crazy person, but I'm not trying to start a career or anything. Although writing the Great American Novel has been one of my fantasies since I was a teenager, I really just want to jump-start my writing. No matter how much I try to scratch that itch with crafts and games, I still feel the urge to write. To combine words in a pleasing way is stimulating. In the back of my mind I've always thought that if I put forth the effort I could write a novel. It may be time to push myself so I can put the possibility to rest.
