Despite my lack of interest in politics, I will be watching the election results tonight. Whatever side of the political fence you are on, you should recognize that this election is historic. We will either have our first black president or our first female vice-president. How cool is that?
I've seen people go crazy when their team wins a championship. There were even tears when the Boston Red Sox won the World Series after an 86-year drought. Will black people be partying in the streets tomorrow if Obama wins? Will feminists have inauguration viewing parties if Palin makes it into office? I can't wait to find out.
