Sunday Scribblings: Deepest, Darkest
Can anyone ever really reveal their deepest, darkest secrets? By my definition, a deep, dark secret is one that you can't share with anyone because you are afraid of how you will be viewed once it get out. If you feel that you can reveal a secret, then it isn't your darkest one, is it? Something else has taken its place as your deepest secret, moving that one up the chain and making it seem not so bad. Also, some people sacrifice a not-so-dark secret in hopes that their friends will stop searching for the truly bad one. Your deepest, darkest secret isn't revealed voluntarily; it must always be extracted by force.
