Alizma on America's Got Talent

Sometimes I don't know what gets into these contestants' heads. Alizma is not the first act to come out in the semi-final round with something different than what they auditioned with, but they are the most defiant. In most cases, the acts at least attempt to "take a note" and fix what the judges recommended. In Alizma's case, they went in the opposite direction. The judges clearly said that if they make it through to the next round, the group should do more violin playing and less singing. As you can see from the video, Alizma practically abandoned the violins in their next appearance. They should have taken a note from reality show contestants like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood -- do what you need to do to win the contest and then branch out into other styles later.

So I have to say, I don't watch this show, but after exactly 56 seconds I had to turn it off. The girls look like they're in a strip club totally going off their looks. Show some talent girls! The violin would have been far more interesting...
