Dear God,
Thank you for the cleaning supplies that Your servant left on my doorstep this morning. You blessed us with the house, and now You have blessed us with the means to keep it clean. The Christmas card signed "Love, God" was a great reminder to me that all my provisions ultimately come from You, no matter who delivers them.
I also thank Your servant for being obedient to Your will. It is tempting to avoid being generous to others and keep your bounty to yourself in tough times like these, yet Your servant behaved as a true child of God and put someone else first. It is an example that I would do well to follow, not just during the holiday season but throughout the year.
