Music Monday: Private Idaho

The kids and I watched a rerun of this year's CMT Music awards and were pleasantly surprised to see The B-52s performing with Sugarland. Like a lot of people, I discovered The B-52s in 1989, even though they had been recording for 10 years prior to that. The bouncy rhythms combined with the retro costuming attracted me right away. Rather than be obvious and post a link to the song that brought them mainstream attention, "Love Shack", I'm posting one of their earlier hits "Private Idaho". It's a perfect Monday song.
